The blue ring that surrounds each symbol inspires determination and ambition to achieve great things, a sense of purpose in striving for goals. The footprints that surround each symbol represent the journey of all the children.
The Yugumbir State School community welcomes you to our school.
The name 'Yugumbir' (You-gum-beer) is derived from the name of the local Indigenous Yugumbeh Nation.
The school opened in January 1986 with an enrolment of 166 in Years 1-7. We now have an enrolment of 1000 students from Prep to Year 6.
We are very proud of our school and strive to create a stimulating learning environment that recognises individual differences and learning styles. Our school also promotes a safe, caring and supportive environment that ultimately seeks to help students become life-long learners.
In this section you can learn about our school mission and why Yugumbir provides a solid beginning to your child's life-long learning. You can also find information on daily routines, expectations, behaviour policies and contact details.
