Excursions provide students with an opportunity to learn or reflect on learning experiences that are being provided in the classroom. They are organised by teachers and submitted for approval by both the principal and the P&C. Detailed risk assessments are completed as required by Education Queensland.
Excursions vary in cost but as much as possible, costs are kept to a minimum to encourage the highest participation level possible. Details and permission forms are distributed to the students concerned well before the date of the excursion and copies can be downloaded from the documents section of the school website.
Students participating in excursions are expected to wear the school uniform and display good behaviour at all times.
