Excursions

As part of some learning programs, students may go on an excursion to places of interest. Excursions are planned to supplement learning which occurs in the classroom and are organised by year level teachers and approved by the Principal. Excursions may vary in length.

Suitable transport will be arranged and parents will be informed of full details and costs prior to an excursion taking place. It is school policy that students participating in excursions must wear school uniform, unless otherwise directed.

Camps

Camps involve children in educational activities which do not occur in the classroom. Details relevant to camps will be forwarded to parents as appropriate.

No child will participate in a camp unless written permission has been received from parents.  Students who do not attend school camp must continue to attend school as usual.

The school maintains the right to decide which students participate in these activities.
