Yugumbir State School

Welcome to our school website. Yugumbir State School was established in 1986. Our school enjoys a very positive reputation, with over 1110 students benefitting from our caring and inclusive school culture.

Our extensive learning program is based on maximising the academic development of every child, complemented by cultural and sporting opportunities, community leadership and personal development. Our school campus is safe and supportive. Classrooms are positive, orderly, work focussed and digitally rich learning environments where all students can grow and learn with confidence.

At Yugumbir State School, families are important to us. Explicit in our goals is the challenge for parents and the school to work harmoniously at all times. Genuine and respectful relationships are at the core of the productive partnerships we strive to develop. The P&C plays a significant role within the school, seeking to maximise parent engagement in school activities.
